  1. What are your candles made from?
    Our container candles are made from high-quality coconut-apricot blend, while our sculptural candles are made with a soy wax blend. We also use premium fragrance oils, and clean-burning wicks. We focus on using ingredients that are safe, sustainable, and create a beautiful scent experience.

  2. Are your candles eco-friendly or non-toxic?
    Yes! Our candles are crafted with eco-conscious ingredients. We use clean-burning wax, phthalate-free fragrances, and lead-free cotton or wood wicks. No harsh chemicals—just beautiful, non-toxic scents you can feel good about.

  3. How long do your candles burn?

    Burn time depends on the size of the candle, but on average:

    • Small candles (4 oz): ~20–25 hours

    • Medium candles (7–9 oz): ~40–50 hours

    • Large candles (10 oz+): ~60+ hours
      We recommend following our burn and care tips to get the most out of your candle.

  4. Do your candles contain synthetic fragrances?
    We use a mix of high-quality fragrance oils, which may include natural and safe synthetic components. All our fragrances are free from phthalates, parabens, and other harmful additives. 

  5. Do you offer custom candle scents or labels?
    Currently, we do not offer custom candle scents or labels. 


🕯️ Usage & Care FAQs

  1. How do I get the best burn from my candle?
    To get the most out of your candle, always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use and let the wax melt all the way to the edges during the first burn (this helps prevent tunneling). Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time, and keep it away from drafts for an even, clean burn.

  2. Why is my candle tunneling?
    Candle tunneling happens when only the center of the wax melts, leaving a ring of unmelted wax around the edges. This usually occurs when the candle isn’t burned long enough during the first few uses. To prevent tunneling, always allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container during each burn—especially the first time, which helps set a “memory” for even future burns.

  3. Is it safe to leave a candle burning unattended?
    No, it’s never safe to leave a candle burning unattended. Always stay in the room while your candle is lit and place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable. Be sure to extinguish the flame before leaving the room or going to sleep.

  4. Can I reuse the candle jar/container?
    Yes! Once the candle is finished, you can clean out the remaining wax and reuse the container. Simply place the jar in the freezer for a few hours—this helps the wax pop out easily. Wash with warm, soapy water and repurpose it as a plant pot, storage jar, or even a new candle vessel if you refill.

  5. Why is my flame too high/too low/flickering?
    An irregular flame can be caused by a wick that's too long, drafts in the room, or debris in the wax. Always trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn, keep the candle away from vents or fans, and make sure the wax surface is clean for a steady, safe flame.

  1. How long will it take to receive my order?
    Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days. Once shipped, delivery usually takes 3–5 business days depending on your location. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on the way.

  2. Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
    Currently, we do not offer local pickup.

  3. Can I return or exchange my candle?
    We want you to love your purchase! If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out immediately at contact@thesculptedflames.com. Due to the nature of our products, we don’t accept used candles, but we’re happy to offer a replacement or store credit for damaged or defective items.

  4. What should I do if my candle arrives damaged?
    If your candle arrives broken or damaged, please email us at contact@thesculptedflames.com with photos of the item and packaging within 3 days of delivery. We’ll make it right as quickly as possible.

  5. Do you offer international shipping?
    Currently, we do not offer international shipping.

  1. Do you offer gift wrapping or notes?
    Yes! You can add a gift message or request gift wrapping at checkout. It’s a perfect way to make your order extra special for someone else.

  2. Can I send a candle directly as a gift?
    Absolutely. Just enter the recipient’s shipping address at checkout and include a gift note if you'd like. We never include prices in gift orders.

  3. Do you have any discounts or promotions?
    We offer special deals through our email newsletter and social media. Sign up or follow us to stay in the loop on upcoming sales and exclusive promotions.

  4. Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

    All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches in Long Island, NY using high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

  2. Do you sell in stores or only online?
    Our candles are available online, and we also participate in pop-up markets. Check our Upcoming Events on the home page or follow us on social media for the latest updates on where to shop in person.
