How to Use Your Candle

• Prepare your space:
  Always place your pillar candle on a flat, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface—ideally a candle plate or stand—to catch any dripping wax and protect your surfaces.

• Light the candle:
  Use a long match or lighter to safely ignite the wick. Avoid tilting the candle while lighting.

• Coax out the scent:
  For the first burn, allow the candle to create a full melt pool across the top. This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even, long-lasting burn. Do not leave your candle unattended.

• Snuff out the flame:
  Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame cleanly. Recenter the wick if needed, and trim it to 5 mm (about ¼ inch) before relighting to maintain a steady flame.

• Final sparks:
  Discontinue use when only about 1 cm (⅓ to ½ inch) of wax remains or if the candle becomes unstable. This helps prevent overheating the surface beneath.

• Ventilate your space:
  After burning, open a window or gently air out your space to keep the environment feeling fresh and balanced.
